Second Hand Furniture Shoreham

Buying from us Donating to us Getting Help

After 23 years of providing support to residents of Adur as an independent social enterprise, Adur Furniture Network has merged with Horsham Matters and relaunched as Adur Matters. The new organisation will be even better placed to provide goods for local families in crisis and to offer good quality second-hand furniture and goods from its refurbished store at 1a New Road in Shoreham. Adur Matters will become part of the West Sussex wide Local Assistance Network and will work closely with Worthing Churches Homeless Projects to provide second hand furniture and white goods those in need across Shoreham and the Adur District.

The New Road store in Shoreham was completely refubished and reopened on Friday 8th April.  Stocking a variety of household goods and items of second hand furniture, funds generated from sales will enable the wider work across Shoreham and Adur. The Adur Matters Community Fund will also provide small grants to other local community groups and organisations – the Horsham Matters Community Fund has donated nearly £190,000 to other local groups in the last five years.

Donations of household goods, furniture and electrical items that are in good, usable condition are always welcome and anyone looking to donate items that they no longer need can call Horsham Matters on 0300 124 0204 to make arrangements for them to be collected. Please note that they cannot be directly donated to the New Road shop as there is not enough room!
